I wanted to share with you an insight of my life recently, and I thought it would be the perfect excuse to create a little piece of art from. What has often got me back into drawing has been, in fact, drawing lists of things that I have been doing, eating, wearing, etc. I also want to try to attempt to draw some of my pictures on my posts from now on which will be exciting for me as a little personal project.

But yeah, yada yada, here's a look into my life recently and what has been going on:

1. Blogging
I'm falling in love with my blog more each and every day and it's fantastic. I haven't been this motivated and passionate about something since I started doing YouTube. Even to this day, I really really miss making videos, but I find it really hard at the moment whilst travelling or the prospect of travel (as I'm pretty still at the moment). But yeah, I'm feeling incredibly inspired to write about this that and the other, and I feel as though I'm improving heaps and becoming more "me" in my writing style.

2. Kindle
My kindy is my one true prized possession and I really don't know what I'd do without it. I can carry thousands of books in my bag with this one nifty piece of technology - I love it! I've been reading a lot more recently and I'm currently reading City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare which I have already spoken about in a previous post. I've also just finished a massive overhaul of all my books; decluttering and reorganising. I downloaded an application where you can edit the names of your books, so if you've 3 books in a series all with different types of titles, then you can make them more uniform. It's brilliant for the OCDs out there, for sure!

3. Captain America: Civil War
I went to see this film last week with Alex and, well, it was okay I guess. I'm not a massive fan of superhero films (unless you're talking Deadpool or Kickass) and I really just went because Alex desperately wanted to see it. I just feel as though the film could have ended a lot quicker if the team just spoke to each other more as the reasoning behind the bad guy at the end was just a bit meh if you ask me. I'm just not keen on films that rely heavily on CGI! I still had a lovely night though; we went for an all you can eat meal and ice cream before the movie.

4. Attempting To Draw
This, if you can't tell, is a picture of a scrumpled up piece of paper. I've been trying to draw recently but haven't been happy with anything that I've been creating. As this post depicts, I think I'm going to start slow, draw lists and my blog post pictures from now on and go from there.

5. The Hobbit
Yes, this is another film that I'm only just watching like Lord of the Rings, as I mentioned in a previous post. I've just got the third Hobbit film to watch and then that's it. So far, Lord of the Rings is a whole lot better than The Hobbit, but I'm still really enjoying the films as they are absolutely spectacular. I love Martin Freeman as Bilbo, I just feel that he's completely the right fit for the role.

What have you been up to recently?

    1. Thank you, I've been wanting to draw more recently and thought, why not incorporate it into my blog posts :) I'm not really a film person generally so for me to watch even that many films is a big feat for me! Thank you for reading and stopping by, May :) have a lovely day x
