Take a break

I believe that in order to achieve the best results in all you do, it's essential to take a break every once in a while. This is just to clear your mind of all the clutter, and just relax - it doesn't need to be forever, it could just be a day or two, but chilling out is most definitely the key.

After my small break from blogging, I'm feeling super pumped and enthusiastic about my little corner of the internet again, not that that ever truly went away, but I feel inspired to create. I've been thinking about which direction I want my blog to go in, but I don't think I've realised that yet, if I'm ever going to at all. I've always been a girl of many interests, and I guess I always wanted this blog to be an outlet for myself as well as a place where other people can find inspiration and enjoyment in whatever way they see. I write what I like and I write for me, but whether the "theme" changes, I am yet to discover.

I've noticed that I've been writing a lot more bookish posts recently, I'm enjoying these because I have been getting into reading a lot more, which has been one of my goals. This doesn't mean that I want my blog to be solely about books; I've done that, tried that, got the t-shirt, and it wasn't all that fun to commit. I want my blog to be a representation of myself and my experiences, and if a few book reviews is what's happening right now, then so be it.

I feel as though my head is clearer now for the first time this year, I have nothing more to really stress about, and I can focus on being the best that I can be. Sometimes a break or a weight off your shoulders is really the thing that pushes you to be better.
