Well, today's my birthday! I'm now 25, where I'm no longer classified as early twenties but as mid twenties - it's pretty damn scary from where I'm standing. I'm not a massive fan of birthdays now anyways, they just always seem to be an excuse to get drunk, which in my opinion is as good an excuse as any.

Seeing as I haven't been running this blog for all too long, I thought it would be a good time to give some little facts about myself. I found a 25 random questions tag somewhere on the interwebs, to fit in with my now being 25, and decided to give it a crack so you can get to know me at least a little bit.

1. What is your middle name?
Louise. A typical 90s girls middle name.

2. What was favourite subject at school?
Art and drama. I always preferred the more practical subjects than the academical ones. I loved, and still love creating and I just felt more myself when I was doing something like that. I was never good with words or figures or science, it just felt as though I was plodding through those subject just because I had to.

3. What is your favourite drink?
Alcoholic, amaretto. Non alcoholic, either milk or iced coffee. I went through a phase not too long ago of buying an iced coffee a day. There's way more brands of ice coffee out in Australia than the UK and I love it.

4. What is your favourite song at the moment?
Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots - my favourite songs really do change day by day though.

5. What is your favourite food?
Anything Thai is to die for.

6. What is the last thing you bought?
Unless you count the taxi I just paid for, I paid $2 towards Nandos. Alex and I both want to eat out less to save money but we still wanted Nandos, so it was the perfect time to use the points on our beloved loyalty card to pay for a meal for us.

7. Favourite book for all time?
These are always my least favourite questions because I have so many. But at the moment my favourite book is either Ready Player One by Ernest Cline or Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger.

8. Favourite Colour?
Teal/turquoise, whatever you want to call it.

9. Do you have any pets?
Not at the moment - I used to own (at separate times) two hamsters and two fish. Harry, Willow, Chips and Fish respectively. The last name being a real winner, I was really creative with that one.

10. Favourite Perfume?
I don't really wear perfume, it's not really my thing.

11. Favourite Holiday?
Without a doubt hands down, Mexico. I've been there twice with my parents, once to Cancun and once to Guadalajara. Both times were absolutely amazing as I spent two weeks there; the first week was a week of touring and the second was spent relaxing by the pool at the hotel. It was absolute bliss and was stunningly beautiful.

12. Are you married?
Ha, no!

13. Have you ever been out of the country, if so how many times?
Too many to count. I'm even currently out of the country right now in Australia and this is the longest I've spent away from home. Almost 15 months and counting.

14. Do you speak any other language?
I speak a bit of French to be able to get by in France. However, I wouldn't be able to have a full blown conversation with anyone. Travelling has really made me appreciate learning a language because so many people I meet are from countries where English isn't their mother tongue and I can have perfectly good conversations with them as I can with anyone who speaks the language naturally. It really humbles me.

15. How many siblings do you have?
I'm an only child. No, I'm most definitely not spoiled before you make that assumption.

16. What is your favourite shop?
I don't think I've ever been asked this question before so I'm having to think about this one. My conclusion is that I don't really think I have a favourite shop to be honest. Like I'm not a massive shopper anyways!

17. Favourite restaurant?
At the moment it's probably Zambreros. For anyone that doesn't know, it's a Mexican fast food restaurant; burritos, nachos, that kind of thing. It's to die for!

18. When was the last time you cried?
Not too long ago actually, I think it was on Monday. I got a bit mood swingy and cried for pretty much no reason so don't judge me - it happens!

19. Favourite Blog?
I don't really have one at the moment, I'm just finding a lot of new ones recently.

20. Favourite Movie?
My all time favourite film at the moment is Sin City but a close second is anything Pixar; I'm a massive animated film fan. I'd rather watch Finding Nemo over Lord of the Rings any day. However, saying that, I'm really not much of a movie person as I barely ever go to the cinema or even watch any films in general.

21. Favourite TV shows?
I've got into my TV shows a lot more now that I've got time to get back to Netflix but I'm still not a massive TV fan. I really love the Netflix Originals Daredevil and Jessica Jones at the moment, I think they're incredible.

22. PC or Mac?
Once you go mac you never go back.

23. What phone do you have?
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini - I need a new phone though, pronto!

24. How tall are you?
5’1″ - I'm a little shorty. Although, I met someone smaller than me who said they were the same height as me so I'm starting to doubt whether my life has been a dream or not now.

25. Can you cook?
I like to think so, yes! I also absolutely love doing it, I find it really therapeutic and I enjoy trying out different things and different flavour combinations.

I'd be interested to see if anyone else answers these questions as I'd love to read your responses.
